Semiconductor nanostructures for renewable energy, information processing and communication technologies
is devoted to theoretical modeling of semiconductor nanostructures and devices with possible applications in new and emerging technologies.
The project duration is June 1st, 2010 - May 31st, 2014.
The full list of project tasks is available here.
The research within the project is performed in the research group
of Dr. Paweł Machnikowski, professor at the Institute of Physics,
Wrocław University of Technology, and funded by the TEAM programme of the Foundation for Polish Science.
The work will be done in collaboration with the leading European groups in the field: Prof. Dr. Tilmann Kuhn (Institut für Festkörpertheorie, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster),
Prof. Dr. Vollrath Martin Axt (Physikalisches Institut, Universität Bayreuth),
Prof. Dr. Andreas Knorr (Institut für Theoretische Physik, Technische Universität Berlin).
The project team will consist of young researchers and students selected in a competitive procedure. The potential candidates are cordially invited to see our recruitement page and to submit their applications. The deadline of the next recruitment procedure is September 30th, 2013.
Project realized within the TEAM programme of Foundation for Polish Science, cofinanced from European Regional Development Fund within Innovative Economy Operational Programme.
